Gabriele Gobbo has spent thirty years watching digital culture grow from a curiosity into the infrastructure of everyday life. He was there for most of it: the first websites, the early communities, the moment social media stopped being fun, the arrival of AI as something everyone suddenly had an opinion about.
He is the creator of Digitalosophy and the author of books on digital culture, AI, and technology education. His work includes Digital Sleepwalkers, Social Zombing, co-created with Max Guadagnoli, and the development of Strategic Metaprompting and the 3C Protocol for directing generative AI without outsourcing the thinking.
He is a Guest Lecturer in the Cyber-Humanities elective course (Camisani Calzolari), MD program at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, directs the PioneerAIO research lab, and hosts FvgTech, a weekly television program on digital culture. He is Vice President of the Digital Security Festival. He founded Italiamac in 1996, Italy's largest Apple community.
His work has been presented at the Italian Parliament and at Confindustria. He has participated in national digital awareness campaigns alongside Marco Camisani Calzolari, official spokesperson for Italy's State Police on online safety. He was convened by the Italian Ministry of Education on cyberbullying policy. He contributes to Agenda Digitale, Italy's leading publication on digital policy. His book Digitalogia reached #1 in four Amazon Italy categories in its first months, earning two Triple Crown distinctions. He received the Divulgatore d'Oro recognition at the MCC Digital Award in 2023.
